Regularly I hear people say, “Isn’t that weird that I feel that?”
We have often learned in our lives to put away our feelings, for various reasons; to survive, to fit in, to belong, not to be rejected.
Sometimes people feel almost nothing, get there very hard.
But that is often precisely a problem, because people then actually feel a little dead. Passion, desire, all that is also much further away.
The head has largely taken over and determines. Meanwhile, there is much suppressed what , but what is not allowed to come out.
This can have major consequences when a person is hit hard; they are then out of control of their own emotions and behavior. The lid shot off the pressure cooker. When people cannot control their emotions, sometimes very unpleasant things happen.
You also see this a lot in our society right now. People who are guided by their emotions, with all the consequences. People come face to face and are unable to understand the other person’s feelings.
I am a sensitive person and as a child I cried easily, which was uncomfortable for those around me, I had to stop. I too had learned to find some feelings weird about myself. I was ashamed of that.
My inner world didn’t just show. That was mine, that stayed with me so no one could say anything about it.
But about 20 years ago, it had to come out; it couldn’t be kept. I always say my soul knocked on the door. Something had to be done.
I began my journey inward. Examining and looking at everything that was not actually mine, that I was allowed to let go of (think e.g. beliefs). The tangle I disentangled more and more, and more and more clarity emerged. I could see further and further into the landscape of my inner world.
Just by looking at everything, examining it, illuminating it, I began to know myself better and better. More and more inner freedom, space and self-actualization came.
Acceptance of all that lives in you brings you to enlightenment
Shining the light into the farthest corners of yourself and saying, “come on, show yourself,” to everything inside you.
Often we are afraid of that, we are afraid that we will then show destructive behavior. Especially if there is suppressed anger or deep sadness.
But there is something like an inner healer within you that knows exactly what it takes to look at, how far, how deep, how long. This healer monitors this process, but he can only do this when you let go of your ratio and feel. Let your intuition guide you. In this way, it can lead you to that which may be seen.
This is done in a loving way, with no pressure, no need to do anything, only when it feels okay.
When you shine the light on your inner world, you give yourself permission to feel what is there. Everything is allowed to be there. It may be felt. By letting the healer direct this process, it will not be destructive; you may look at it lovingly.
The SoulCollage® process is exactly what makes this happen, precisely because you use a card to identify with something that initially appears to be outside of you.
Everything can be there and can be seen. The inner world often cannot wait to be seen. And allowing it releases so much energy because you don’t have to suppress much anymore. Suppressing that costs tons of energy.
In this process, you can also use your cards for support, for love, for guidance.
