We are made up of many different inner parts, inner voices that have their own ideas and needs.
Some of these parts are much in the foreground; others only come to the fore in certain situations. Still others are hidden far away because we feel we should not have them.
When you are not at the wheel and determining which personality gets to do what and when, you are taken over without wanting to be.
For example, if someone says something unkind to you, perhaps the hurt child will come out and act out, chances are you will lose yourself in it.
You step into the middle of the pain and can no longer look at what is happening to you with a helicopter view. Often this is not helpful. Or you react, for example, from an aggressive part, you attack from another hurt part.
By getting to know your inner aspects better and allowing their shadow sides to come to the fore, you can bring much more balance into your life.
By getting to know them, you can also experience their power and use them if necessary in such a way that they no longer ” take over” you.
When you are facing a difficult conversation, you can grab a card that is helpful in preparation for this conversation. You step into the energy of the card for a moment and can very quickly bring out that energy in yourself that you need.
You can find out about your inner personalities in 2 different ways with the SoulCollage® method:
– by intuitively making a map and finding out what aspect of you it is about
– purposefully making a map about an aspect. You look for images to match
