Releasing negative thoughts in 3 steps

You hinder yourself because you think negatively about yourself, and you find it hard to let go of these negative thoughts. Let them go with these 3 steps.

In my experience, your mindset (how you think about yourself) is so incredibly important, and I can say that it is critical to making your life a success. The mindset is the basis of your life and how you show up in the outside world.

Fifteen years ago, my mindset was totally different; I had a lot of fears, always saw bears on the road, and didn’t think of myself as worth that much. Letting go of my negative thoughts was downright challenging for me.

You create your own reality by what you think.

Letting go of negative thoughts in 3 steps

I put a lot of time, energy and money into changing my mindset and thereby creating a life I dream of. I’ll give you some tips that have helped me with this.

Step 1 Be aware of your thoughts every moment.

Be aware of your thoughts every moment, study you, write them down. You make a study of it. You ask yourself what thoughts you have about something you want to create for yourself.

If you find this difficult, then weld in moments during the day by setting an alarm clock and spending a few minutes reflecting on the thoughts you are having at that moment.

Step 2 Summarize it in 1 sentence

When you have written down your thoughts, you form this into a sentence, a belief. You sum it up in one sentence. For example, who is waiting for me? You write this down.

Step 3 Think of the opposite.

After this sentence put an opposite sentence, a helping thought, or a sentence that fits what you want to create. Below are some examples. For example: my colleagues are waiting for me. Then sum up why this is so. Write it down and also say it out loud.
