What physical problems can tell you

For the past 1.5 months I had some physical discomfort with a knee, a molar and then my neck. It was striking that when one was better, the other played up.

I assume that when there are physical problems, it is mostly related to our inner well-being. With emotions, feelings tucked away, not listening to what is good for us, having too much to do with ourselves, etc.

I couldn’t quite find my bearings for a while and couldn’t quite figure out what that was. I wasn’t doing enough of those things that were good for me, or taking too little time to explore what was going on now. Do you recognize that?

Apparently more was needed and I was yearning for a weekend away, in nature, not having to do anything and working with myself. A social media detox and doing what made me happy. Reconnecting more deeply with my spirit.

My boyfriend also wanted to come along, again I felt if that made me happy and ahead, he was allowed to come along too

And what a success it has been to make cards, read them, write, read, meditate, feel, connect with nature and not have to do anything. How happy it made me.

I needed a reset and by following my inner wisdom, I knew what to do that weekend. Just the right thing to get out of certain limiting beliefs and feel freer and more sparkling again.

  • For me, feeling what makes me happy is a very important measure.

For me, feeling what makes me happy is a very important gauge, but sometimes pieces come up in me that take up more space than I care to.

Which occupy the space of parts that normally help me sparkle. Parts that are too serious and think I should do all sorts of things.

By making my choice to go away and leave the outside world behind me for a while, I was able to shake up those inner parts and give them a new format.

I feel transformed after the weekend, feel much freer again, enjoy the little things much more and can feel much more gratitude for all that is allowed to be in my life.

How glad I am that my inner wisdom guides me. I have learned over the years to follow those in order to take further steps in becoming free inwardly.

Life is not always a straight line. It is natural to have less good and very good periods. Acknowledging that, too, can be very helpful.

Don’t be fooled by people who stand around and say how great their lives always are. Everyone, but also everyone has down periods, even if they don’t show it then.

The trick is not to linger too long in a “down period.”

What about the direction of your inner wisdom? How well do you listen to what really makes you happy? And how much are you hindering yourself in doing that?
